Dear Pastors, Churches and Friends,

            Hello from the Homans!! This being our second prayer letter let me begin by saying “thank-you” to all of you that are praying, encouraging, and supporting us.  The last two months have been similar to the first two months since we surrendered to go back to Rome, “wide open”. Since our last letter we have been to Arkansas, Ohio, West Virginia, and Canada.

It has been a tremendous blessing to witness two young men come to the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. Both of the young men were seventeen years of age, but in two different parts of the continent. The first was Jose, a young Mexican boy that answered the door in Rogers, Arkansas on June 16^th. After a few minutes of talking with Jose, he quickly admitted that he had been trusting his own “good works” for salvation. After a clear presentation of the gospel Jose admitted his desire to be saved, so we got down on our knees there at his front door. Jose prayed in Spanish for nearly half a minute, when we got up, I told him the Lord understands Spanish, but I don’t. He told me (in short) he asked the Lord Jesus Christ to save his soul from hell. I met the second young man on the street in downtown Toronto, Canada, while doing some street work with Missionary Aaron Clippinger. Jimmy Elliot honestly admitted that he wasn’t saved and wasn’t hard to convince with the scriptures that his future home was Hell. After about 10 minute or so young Jimmy bowed his head and received the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour. Please pray for both of these young men as their contact information has been given to local churches in their respective areas.

All is well on the “home front”. Joshua and Meaghan are thoroughly enjoying living in a motor home, Caleb still needs a haircut, and Csilla…well pray for herJ! Our meetings are going well. Presently we just ended our third full month of deputation and we are at about 9% (I think). Please continue to pray that the Lord will sell our house, and that he’ll get the support needed for us to get to Rome. What a privilege to be “fellow-laborers” together with “ya’ll”!!!
